These sub surface aeration kits are perfect for lakes and ponds from 1/2 acre up to 4 + Acres.
These kits come standard as Kits with NO Cabinet or enclosure or priced WITH a Cabinet. The enclosure comes complete with a cooling fan, GFCI Outlets, and a powder coated steel locking Cabinet.
The locking cabinet is landscape green color and designed for outdoor weather conditions. The cabinet stands on a solid support base to maintain a level installation. Within the cabinet there is a cooling fan with cross flow ventilation. The compressor plugs into a built in outlet. The cabinet should be located above pond water level and flood zone and within 50 feet of the shore. Do not bury. Very simple to install and operate.
The Compressors MUST be protected from the elements. Build your own to save money or mount it in a barn, shed, etc. If mounting in an enclosure it MUST have a cooling fan.

The Matala MEA Lake PRO 1 Air Pump Kit gives you everything you need to handle your aeration needs in small lakes up to a maximum of 1/2 acre. Improve your environment were your fish live, help prevent algae growth and during the winter use as a deicer to leave an opening in the ice. Make sure you move your diffuser to a shallower spot to prevent the pond from becoming self cooled in the winter months. For outdoor applications, it is recommended that the unit be enclosed to protect it from the elements but must have an opening on both sides so the air pump can keep cool and breathe. This is an external air pump and is not to be submerged.
